Molecular and cellular mechanisms for regulating the flow of information from genome to the cytoplasm, and from one generation to the next in eukaryotes and prokaryotes. Various levels of regulation will be discussed from an experiment-based perspective. Not open for credit to students who have completed course 121 or 161.

Prerequisite: Biological Sciences 101 and 102; Biological Sciences 104 recommended.
