UC Davis Department of Plant Pathology

Dr. Nadler is the Chairman of Nematology. As the leader of his department he is in charge of planning the programs in teaching, research, extension and public service and he is responsible for recruitment selection and evaluation of both faculty and staff. All departmental activity is subject to his review and approval.

Guyla is responsible for monthly payroll/personnel forms, for account reconciliation for faculty who have been assigned to her and should be informed any time there is a change affecting your payroll and student status. Sandy is responsible for monthly payroll/personnel forms, for account reconciliation for faculty who have been assigned to her and should be informed any time there is a change affecting your payroll and student status. Sandy's other duties include the departmenatal accounts for Plant Pathology, Nematology and the Science and Society program.

Krissy processes all the purchasing and invoicing for both departments. She distributes all receivables, processes all travel and entertainment forms, manages the Centralized Travel System (CTS) for travel arrangements, CAMS, Facitlies request.

Wendy is an account manager and is responsible for account reconciliation to faculty who have been assigned to her. She is responsible for contract and grant administration, gift acceptance, payroll/personnel associated with their Professor. Back up for purchasing. My PI's currently are: Adaskaveg, Bostock, Caswell-Chen, Ferris, Kado, Kluepfel, Mircetich, Nadler, Rizzo, Subbarao, Uyemoto, Webster.

Elizabeth oversees the admissions process with the Graduate Affairs Chair and coordination of graduate and undergraduate responsibilities including block grant funding, course scheduling, DESII reports.

The Administrative Officer is responsible to the Department Chairs, the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences and the campus for the administration of the extensive business affairs of the programs and departments of Nematology, Plant Pathology, and Science and Society. Plant Pathology also houses the Western Plant Diagnostic Network (Homeland Security) as well as the Career Discovery Group undergraduate program. Janet works with and on behalf of Department Chairs and Director of SAS to oversee all departmental academic and non-academic business affairs. She is also the Chair of the campus Administrative Manager Group (AdMan) from 2007 through 2008.
